1881 "Old Man in Red Tunic"
William Lidderdale Hornell was a volunteer in the Prince of Wales Light Horse, Bacchus Marsh troop. William's son Edward Atkinson Hornell painted "An Old Man in a Red Shirt" in 1881, but I believe this picture is a painting of his father William, in the PWLH uniform, red garibaldi shirt.
