Welcome To Our Family History

 

I started to research our family history as a "time filler" back in 1994.  My cousin Terry said, "you should try it", so we can blame him for the eventual obsession.  It wasn't until my conversation with him in 1998 that I started to take it more seriously (ie: obsessively) and delve deeper into the archives, taking notes, documenting facts and recording sources.   It's a history to share, with many interesting stories and people.  There are stories about heroism, stories about murder, and stories of joy and sadness.  So,  here it is in the hope that some other branches of the family will find us while doing their own research, and that they will make contact.

This is my first attempt at web page building, so bear with me if you find a hiccup.  It's a work in progress.  Each family surname has a page and a gallery of images.    Check out Whose Line Is It? to see a listing of the Paternal and Maternal lines if you are unfamiliar with your ancestry.

Hello, I am Carole.  This web page is a work in progress and has been set up so that family members and relatives from the many branches on our tree can view the research that is being done on a daily basis.  It is also my intention to hopefully "catch" a few new relatives who find us through their own research on the internet. 

 

I am 60,  a retired home maker and a thoroughly obsessed family history researcher.
