The Holbrook Family History
The Holbrook branch of the family began when Amelia Parks (the daughter of Henrietta GREEN and Alexander Hamilton Tovey PARKS) married Sir Arthur R. Holbrook April 16, 1878 at St. Jude's Church, Southsea, Hampshire. They had 11 children together, including several who were knighted themselves. The Holbrook family held many distinguished credits to their name and were often written about in the society pages of the London papers. Some of the Holbrook family stories can be found on our Stories page, by clicking the link.
Below are some old film clips, photographs and documents I have collected during my research on the Holbrooks. Scroll down and take a look through.
